I was wandering about central Brum following and being followed by a small army of digital camera snappers all out and about, like myself it has to be admitted, taking advantage of the day’s low winter sun.

The lanterns were up all over Birmingham’s excuse for a Chinatown, apparantly in anticipation of the Chinese New Year which is to be celebrated later this month.
